Description
Lardo is a type of salami made by curing strips of fatback with rosemary and other herbs and spices. Lardo has been made since Roman times. Its a great compliment to any meat platter but is also delicious eaten with grissini. You can be creative and also use it on top of hot cooked vegetables and potatoes to give them the ultimate flavour.
Shelf Life & Storage
Lardo is enjoyed best at room temperature. Store in the fridge but take it out 30 minutes before eating.
